2nd run post Chemo

Today was my second run since I came from the hospital on Friday morning. Woke up early and felt really good, not tired nor achy. Had a good protein breakfast took my supplements of Acetyl L Carnitine and L-Lysine along with my Multi and Magnesium. Waited a couple of hours for everything to settle but the temperature was still 30F.
If I were training the temperature would not bother me. I still sweat at 20F during a hard workout, but this is going to be an easy one and did not want to freeze out there! So I waited a couple more hours.I noticed the more time would go by the less energy I had, although I was not doing much to get tired.
Finally I bundled up and headed out for a three mile run.
It felt pretty easy for the first mile but as I kept running along I started feeling achy around the ankles. I used to run some of my training runs barefoot/minimal and I have strengthen my lower legs and ankles more than most runners so I'm a little surprised that they hurt. My worst fear is to snap a tenon. With careful short strides and landing under the hips I made it back safe.
Looking forward to tomorrow and maybe starting a little earlier.
